De-Matting Policy
Best Interest of Your Dog:

Severely matted/tangled hair: Your dog will be shaved down.

Minor matting: Will be brushed out for an extra fee.
Health Concerns:

Matted coats can cause hot spots, bacterial and fungal infections.

Parasites like fleas, ticks, and maggots may hide in matted fur.

Matted fur causes pain and skin irritation.
Grooming Recommendations:

Regular grooming is recommended every 6-8 weeks and should be maintained at home between visits.

Our groomers are very careful, but the possibility of injury exists, especially on neglected coats.
Preventing Matting:

We are happy to show you how to care for your dog’s coat to prevent matting.
Before You Bring Your Dog
Behavior:

Inform us if your dog has ever bitten or is aggressive.

We reserve the right to refuse uncontrollable or vicious dogs. A "Behavior Fee or Special Handling Fee" may be applied.
Vaccination Records:

Provide current records from your vet (no tags, breeder folders/cards, or photos of vaccination records).

Distemper/Parvo and Rabies are required by state law.
Preparation:

Ensure your dog has relieved itself before entering the salon.

Respect our salon and neighbors; we have bags/paper towels to clean up after your pet.

All dogs must be leashed, carried, or kenneled when entering and leaving the salon for safety.
Picture Policy

Bring a picture of your desired grooming style for our reference.

We may take pictures of your dog for our website or advertising.
Grooming Cancellation & No Call/No Show Policies

Being 10 minutes late will require rescheduling.

Provide more than 24 hours' notice for cancellations.

Less than 24 hours' notice or no-shows will incur a 50% fee and may require a deposit for habitual offenders.
